ApatiteFrom the Greek word "apatos" meaning "deception", because of its wide variety
of colors and crystals shapes. The green variety is sometimes called "asparagus stone",
it is not common in the jewelry trade because it is both soft and very brittle.
Apatite is believed by some to improve self-expression, teaching & stuttering. Metaphysical lore credits it with healing properties, especially the thyroid and high blood pressure.
All bead necklaces are finished with black satin cord in your choice of overall length from 18" to 24".
