Chiastolite is a variety of andalusite. It is sometimes called the "Cross Stone" because of its cross pattern that occurrs naturally. Chiastolite is said to be a stone of balance and harmony. It is believed by some to help with mental / emotional balance, stability, enhancing problem solving, adapting to change, memory, and ability to see all sides of a problem.
