The name Septarian originated from the Latin word "saeptum", meaning a small wall or enclosure. This name refers to the characteristic mineral-filled cracks that form "walls" dividing the mass of the Septarian concretion into small compartments.
Metaphsically, said to aids in overall healing and health. Also believed to open psychic communications. Good for muscle tension and spasms. A grounding stone.
Others believe Septarian is a beautiful calming nurturing energy. It also nurtures ideas while helping with the motivation to put those ideas into action.
